Mob and Demob Days

Mob and demob days can be applied in the Enersight scheduler to add additional duration to either the beginning or end of an activity. Mob and demob can either be applied on a specific resource, or applied to a specific activity. A general overview of each of the settings will be covered in this document.

Resource Mob/Demob

Applying mob/demob to a resource will make the resource unavailable for the designated duration. Resource mob/demob can be applied to a given resource in the resource settings.

Mob Days – The resource will become unavailable for specified duration prior to beginning work on a step group. (mob will not be applied between wells in a step group)

Demob Days – The resource will become unavailable for the specified duration following completion of work on a step group. (demob will not be applied between wells in a step group)

Intra-Job Move Days – Resource will become unavailable for specified duration between activities in a step group.

Activity Mob/Demob

Mob/demob durations can also be applied to a specific activity within a drilling program. Activity mob/demob is useful primarily for creating delays in your schedule without having to create an additional step.

Activity mob/demob inputs can be applied in the ‘Advanced Settings’ for any activity step within a drilling program.
